Sound familiar?
- Your site shows an error page like “404 Not Found,” or nothing at all.
- Browsers warn your customers that the site is “Not secure.”
- The www address doesn’t load, or the page keeps reloading.
- Your domain is about to expire, or already lapsed, and you’re not sure who renews it.
- The request form sends nothing, or sends it somewhere nobody checks.
- The site runs on old WordPress or PHP that no longer gets security fixes.
- Google, Yelp, or Nextdoor still send people to a site that’s gone.
Three flat prices
You know the number before any work starts.
$150A small fix
The one setting named in your letter or on our call, fixed and tested. That can be the www address, the security certificate, a redirect loop, a button link, or the number in your header.
Not included: Anything else on the site.
Paid in full when you sign. Done within 2 business days of payment and access.
$450Repair or upgrade
Your site brought current: PHP and WordPress updated, or a move off an old site builder. A working security certificate, and the broken form or button fixed. Your pages stay.
Not included: New pages, a redesign, writing new copy, or new features.
Half to start, half when it’s done. Done within 5 business days of the deposit and access.
$900Rebuild or new site
A new or rebuilt site of up to about 5 pages, with your photos and your words. One request form that emails you. Set up in your name, with one round of changes.
Not included: Booking or payment connections, more than 5 pages, writing all the copy, and host or domain fees.
Half to start, half when it’s done. Done within 10 business days of the deposit, access, and your photos and words.
The price covers what we agree on. Anything else gets its own price, and you hear it before I start. You pay host and domain fees to those companies directly.
Software, like scheduling or billing, is quoted per job after a free first look. What I build
How it goes
The domain, the hosting, and the site stay in your name. If you stop working with me, nothing has to move.
- Call or textTell me which site, or which letter. I look at it while we talk. The call and the look are free.
- A one-page agreementWhat I’ll fix, the price, and when it’s done. You sign it on your phone.
- Half to startThe rest when it’s done. A $150 fix is paid in full up front.
- You add me as a userOn your host and domain accounts. I never need your password, and you can remove me when it’s done.
- I fix it, and we test it togetherIf something I did stops working within 30 days, I fix it free.
After it’s fixed: an optional care plan
$40 a month. Cancel anytime.
- Hosting set up in your name.
- Software updates every month: WordPress, plugins, and themes.
- Uptime checks that alert both of us if the site goes down.
- A backup every month.
- Up to 30 minutes of small changes a month.
Your hosting stays in your name, and you pay your host directly. If you cancel, nothing has to move.
Not included: Host and domain fees, new pages or features, and changes past 30 minutes a month.
Common problems, answered
What each one means, how to check it yourself, and what you can fix free.
Not sure which one? Check your site free- Website downAn error page, a blank screen, or “This site can’t be reached.”
- “Not secure” warningThe browser warns your customers before they see your site.
- Domain expiredYour web address lapsed, and the site or email stopped working.
- Contact form not workingPeople fill it out, and nothing reaches you.
- Who owns your websiteYour domain, hosting, and site, and how to tell whose name they’re in.
An old program, too
If the program your office runs on is as old as the website, I rebuild that too. It works the way you already work, on today’s computers and phones, with your information moved over. That job is quoted after a free look.
Questions owners ask
- How do I pay?
- By card, through a payment link. A $150 fix is paid in full when you sign. A $450 or $900 job is half to start and half when it’s done.
- Can you just tell my web person what to change?
- Yes. If someone already looks after your site, I’ll tell them exactly what to change, free.
- What if it’s already fixed?
- Then I’ll tell you so, and you owe nothing.
- Will I get a text when someone fills out the form?
- The form emails you the moment someone sends it, and your phone shows it like any other email. Text alerts need carrier registration first, so they’re quoted on their own.
- Do you do bigger work?
- Yes. Scheduling, quotes, invoicing, billing, and the paperwork in between. Those get a fixed price in writing after a free look. What I build
- What happens if something happens to you?
- You own everything: the program, your data, the accounts, and a written guide to how it works. It is built with common tools any good developer can pick up. You never depend on me alone.
